  • A GREAT school! After reading the poor review below, I had to respond. I hope every parent finds that review as ridiculous as I do. The teachers there truly care about all their students (hence the not bringing peanut products to school - some kids can't even be near peanuts without reacting). They really involve the parents and keep them up to date. I've received classroom letters on how I can help/get involved/volunteer in my child's class. And since when are parent/teacher conferences a BAD thing. I, for one, like finding out how my child is doing in class, where they need improvement, etc. I've picked up my daughter dressed in other clothes too... BECAUSE SHE HAD AN ACCIDENT AND I FORGOT TO HAVE A CHANGE OF CLOTHES FOR HER! I'm very thankful that they didn't let her sit in her soiled clothes for hours or call me at work to come and pick her up. They have donated clothes that they use in emergencies and well, if all they have is boy clothes that will fit my daughter, that's what they will put on her. I'm very thankful for that! If there were incident reports for every scratch a kid gets at daycare, parents would be going home with multiple sheets every day - talk about hassling and bothering the parent. For every significant (meaning a "real" scraped knee, or a welty bruise) accident, I have received an incident report and an explantion. They have a Mother's day and Father's Day party which are so thoughtful for the parents (special songs they sing, tea party for the mom's, etc). Plus the Spring, Thanksgiving and Christmas show are a great way to see the kids perform (or stare blankly at the crowd, or cry, lol) their songs they practice with them for weeks beforehand. Every thing they do is geared towards educating the children and involving the parents. Definitely sign your kids up!!
